Ben and his apprentice were brilliant and very efficient in the removal of our old boiler and fitting of our new boiler, they arrived on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently, and left the area clean and tidy, also Ben clearly explained the operation of the boiler and the remote. Ben came out last week to quote to remove back boiler and install new boiler in our garage. He managed to fit us in this week which was great. It took 2 days to install. And I have to say for all I was dreading the upheaval and mess there has hardly been any. They put stuff down to protect all the carpets. And although it was a bit more tricky for them they managed to fit the pipe work in through a gap in a cupboard after thinking they may need to knock a small channel of ceiling through, which would have been the easy option. Afterwards he walked us round to show what had been done and talk us through everything asking if we were happy with everything or if we had any questions. We are very happy with how everything has been done and the bonus is we get our annual service at a decent price if we get Ben out to service a boiler he has installed. All in all we really happy with service, very friendly and considerate and would be happy to recommend.

Came out to the job, found solutions to anything that may have made it difficult. Gave me an option if top range or mid range and talked them both through. Nathan and Ben were very clean workers, no fuss. All completed in a day although my house is 'quurky' to say the least. All explained very well and all paperwork provided. Tidied up and left the place just as they found it. Highly recommended.

Arrived early on the agreed day and the new boiler was fully installed and ready to use by early afternoon. Very efficient work and they made sure everything was covered to avoid having too much mess. Any mess and rubbish/packaging etc was cleaned and cleared away.
No issues at all and would gladly recommend. Great service.

They came to my home to assess the job , gave me the opportunity to discuss with them my requirements .I then received advice from them on the options regarding different boilers and control units.I received several quotations from them.
I had taken advice from other companies, some gave quotes without viewing the job others came to my property to assess the job. It was quite difficult to choose from all the various quotes .There was a reasonable spread on the costs, but the quotes were not always like for like, although they were all very similar in what was being offered.
I finally settled on R & B's Plumbing and Heating quote based on my confidence that they could undertake the job, and that their quote offered the best value for my needs.
The job was carried out efficiently, neatly and promptly .Both Ben and Nathan were happy to answer my questions as the job progressed .
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company based on my experience.

We needed a boiler replaced which was done in around 5 hours, Ben and Nathan did a great job, talking us through what they would be doing at the quote and instalation stage, moving racking and shelving and putting everything back neat and tidy. Out of 4 quotes which we acquired R & B was the most competitive for the same combi boiler.
Some companies sent salesmen to give a quote where as R&B sent the actual fitter, this was much better because Q&As could be done before a decision was made.
We chose R&B and what a great decision we made ... not just for the price either.
Ben and Nathen came on the day and time we agreed.
They covered all carpets to keep clean.
They cleaned all mess they made.
They removed all rubbish.
They registered the boiler and made sure I knew exactly how to use it.
Two very nice lads to have in my house.

Ben called on Monday afternoon, gave me 3 options, explaining that some of the extras mentioned by other suppliers were unnecessary, quoted a good price, then turned up on Wednesday morning to fit the boiler. The installation was done quickly and all packaging etc was taken away. He explained the operation of the boiler.

We contacted Boilerguide plus others after our 0ver 20 yr boiler was failing. After asking for local independents Ben of R&B Plumbing and Heating contacted us that day and came later to survey and quote. A full check of our requirements was made and Ben recommended a boiler which would retrofit where our old one was plus where the new condenser pipe would run. We arranged a fitting date after Ben gave a competitive quote plus I had confidence after his many professional questions. Our boiler then failed completely and fortunately Ben went the extra mile to pull our date forward.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ben and Nathan. The fit was cleanly completed with minimum fuss and disruption, a separate heating issue arose and that was dealt with same day. We are extremely satisfied with the work done and now have a much more efficient system.

Absolutely spot on from Ben and his crew. Ben came round to have a look at the job, discussed what I required, no sales patter whatsoever, just an honest tradesman.
Got back to me within hours for 3 separate quotes with 3 different boiler options, all the pros/cons. And when I had a follow up question, he replied very quickly, didn't try to oversell me a product I didn't need.
On the day of installation, the guys were in and out within 5hrs, respectful of the property and did an excellent job. Walked me through the new thermostat and boiler functions.
Delighted with the work done and would HIGHLY recommend Ben from R & B Plumbing and Heating and will be looking to employ Ben for future work.

When our old boiler gave up the ghost it became urgent to get a new one, Ben from R & B gave the best quote and price, He explained the ins and outs of various boilers on the market,he was very professional and knowledgeable and as he and his team would be doing the job we agreed to have them install a new Vaillant boiler. The boiler was fitted the system was flushed and all was working in less than a day. The controls were explained and the paper work for the warranty completed.
We would definitely recommend R&B for any job large or small. We have also agreed a yearly service with them. Excellent clean and tidy workmanship.

Ben is a great guy and made sure that after the boiler was fitted that we were happy with everything and went through the Guarantee details and the boiler controls. We did have a slight problem with the Hive controls, Ben persisted and after a call to Hive helpline all was well and running fine. All the rubbish was taken away and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Very quick to come and provide quotes for 3 different boilers, prices were very competitive and beat all other quotes.
Work to replace boiler started 4 days after the quote was accepted which I thought was excellent. Work was completed in about 6 hours which again I thought was fantastic. Property was left in great condition after the job and you would not have known anything had been been done. Operation of boiler and controls explained fully and I feel comfortable if needed they would come back if any problems.
All in all great prices, great service and I would happily recommend and use R & B again in future.
